What is Lip Micropigmentation?
Lip micropigmentation is an aesthetic procedure that involves applying pigments to the upper layer of the skin on the lips to enhance their appearance. The primary goal of lip micropigmentation is to enhance the color and shape of the lips.
During the procedure, the micropigmentation specialist uses a specialized machine that deposits pigments into the skin of the lips through a fine needle. Before starting the procedure, anesthesia is applied to minimize any discomfort.

What does Lip Micropigmentation involve?
The procedure is as follows:
1. Lip outline: This is used to define the contour of the lips and improve their shape. A very fine and discreet outline is created with a color similar to the natural tone of the lips.
2. Lip filling or shading: The entire lip can be filled by applying pigment across the lip’s surface to enhance its color and provide a more vibrant appearance.
This is especially useful for people with pale or discolored lips. Alternatively, combining the outline with gradual filling creates a gradient color effect on the lips. This provides a smoother and more natural appearance.

How long does Lip Micropigmentation last?
The duration of the results of lip micropigmentation can vary from person to person, but generally lasts between 1 and 2 years.
Over time, pigments may fade due to sun exposure and other environmental factors, so periodic touch-ups may be required to maintain the desired appearance.
