Aging is inevitable if we are alive; it is a process we accept. However, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t strive to stay in shape and always look our best.

Maintaining a good appearance at any age requires care that fits our habits, tastes, and needs.

Let’s get started!

There are some general aspects of body care that you likely already know, but it’s worth repeating to make sure you don’t forget—after all, they are the pillars of our health and beauty. I’ll also share a few that might surprise you.

The most universal advices: healthy and balanced nutrition, consistent and varied exercise, relaxation, mindful breathing, and having fun. There are also more specific methods for addressing issues like spots, wrinkles, dry or dull skin, and body contouring.

To help you meet your goals before the year ends, we have prepared a program that includes a basic tune-up plan for both overall health as well as essential beauty and skincare.

1) DIET

Detoxifying, revitalizing, and balancing so your body can restore itself. Certain key vitamins not only promote healthier, more radiant skin but also boost your immune system and slow down the oxidative (aging) process caused by free radicals.

  • VITAMIN D

The importance of this vitamin, synthesized in the skin from cholesterol when exposed to sunlight, is now more recognized for its role in maintaining bone density and supporting a healthy immune system. It’s now common to take vitamin D supplements, as they enhance both immunity and bone health.

  • VITAMIN C

A powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, helping to maintain overall health. It’s commonly taken as an oral supplement but is also highly effective when applied topically in the morning to fight and prevent external signs of aging.

  • VITAMIN E

Alongside vitamin C, it’s one of the most powerful antioxidants when taken orally. It enhances the effects of vitamin C by regenerating it, while also helping to maintain the flexibility and stability of cell membranes, improving their resilience.

  • COENZYME Q10

A vital component of the mitochondrial membrane, where cellular respiration and energy production occur. Supplementing with Q10 is important for maintaining energy levels and supporting efficient cellular metabolism.

 2) EXERCISE

Everyone should find what works best for them, but here you have some easy, achievable steps to boost your metabolism:

  • 30 minutes of brisk walking, twice a week
  • 15 minutes of stretching, twice a week
  • 20 minutes of strength training, twice a week

If you are new to regular exercise this might seem like a big challenge, but there’s no need to tackle everything at once. The key is to gradually incorporate exercise into your daily routine, adjusting to your body’s capabilities over time.

3) CONSCIOUS BREATHING

Dedicate 5-20 minutes a day, preferably in the morning or afterwork when you get home in the evening. Sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor and focus on your breathing. Inhale and exhale while mentally scanning every part of your body. What’s the benefit? It helps relax and oxygenate both the mind and body.

4) GO OUT AND HAVE FUN AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK

Whether it’s going to the movies, having coffee with a friend, taking a pleasant walk, or enjoying a meal at your favorite restaurant, do what brings you joy! The key is to do it. It’s important to stay connected with our fun, carefree side so it doesn’t get buried under daily responsibilities. Remember, life is short and we’re aging every day, so don’t put off for tomorrow what you can enjoy today!
